Allergies

Trees, flowers, grasses, and ragweed could be sources of various types of pollen. People could be allergic to certain types pollen and not others. Since they are variety of pollen, you could be allergic to one or more but not all types. Allergy to mold is not uncommon. Mold can be found outdoors as well as indoors. Outdoors mold could be found in logs and falling leaves. Fungal spores (mold) are also found inside homes especially in moist places. People also develop allergy to pets’ dander, saliva, urine, fur, and feathers. Allergy to household dust and dust mites are common.

Symptoms Allergy symptoms vary widely, it may affect the skin or other bodily structures causing unpleasant reactions. Symptoms of allergy include; tingling or itching around the mouth, hives, swelling of the lips, face, tongue, and the throat. Wheezing and nasal congestion could also be seen. Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and a diarrhea are common intestinal symptoms. Dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting may also occur. Respiratory symptoms include; shortness of breath, asthma, cough, hoarseness, and chest tightness. Cardiovascular symptoms include; fainting, dizziness, pulse irregularities, and change in blood pressure. Nervous system symptoms include; anxiety, dizziness, and confusion.

Medical treatment Avoiding known allergens, if possible, is the best possible way to avoid the development of allergy symptoms. Antihistamines are frequently used to treat allergy but has the drawback of inducing drowsiness. Steroids are used for more serious allergic conditions. THE PROCEDURE -Step 1: Identifying the allergenIf you have had allergy testing through your medical doctor we will confirm that reaction through bio-energetic testing. Please bring your testing results with you on your first appointment.If your allergens are unknown, we will conduct a series to bio-energetic testing to pinpoint the allergen to be treated.
Step 2: TreatmentThe treatment involves electronic detection of an active point on the ear while in contact with the substance being tested. A small 3mm needle is then inserted into the active point and secured with a sterile adhesive patch for 3 weeks to desensitize the patient to the allergen. Strict allergen avoidance is recommended during this period. We can insert up to five needles at each appointment for five different allergens.
Re-exposure to the substance will be possible after the SAAT treatment except in cases of anaphylactic shock. In the case of past anaphylactic shock reactions, re-exposure is never recommended - SAAT treatments will help protect against accidental exposures or cross-contaminations.
